Following an incident involving chemicals in the Science prep room, the school was evacuated in accordance with its emergency procedures. As a precaution, students and staff who were in adjacent rooms have been checked over by medical professionals on the school site and nobody has required further medical attention. A number of emergency vehicles have been in attendance in accordance with agreed safety protocols.

The incident has now been closed by the emergency services and all students and staff are safely back in the school buildings. External examinations are continuing to takeplace as calendared for today.

originally planned to take place on 24th March has now been changed

to the 7th July.
