Introduction

Though Brine Leas, with around 1060 students, is large enough to be exciting and well resourced, we are well aware of our responsibility to ensure that every student is known and valued as an individual.

The House system is probably the key aspect of school life for most students.  Its competitions, social activities, rewards and responsibilities stimulate loyalty, involvement and much enjoyment.  It is this sense of purpose that is so important in the school's overall approach to learning.

More information about up and coming Inter-house events can be found detailed in the Calander of Events.

The Houses of Audley, Lovell and Warwick are represented by a colour and each has their own section of the website containing news and information relevant to each individual house.

Each of the three Houses relies upon students in order to function properly.  In addition to a Head Boy and Head Girl, the Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Prefects, Peer Mentors, Form Representatives and House Officials are given considerable responsibility and are expected to set an example to others.
